When you need to use dry fire laser cartridge with shotgun, you simply insert it inside of the 12 Gauge adapter:

It is very easy to use 12 gauge laser insert. You simply insert it into the chamber of your shotgun:

Each time you rack a shotgun and press the trigger, firing pin strikes the bottom of the cartridge and you see a red dot for a moment. It is very easy to use it with pump action shotgun. Will be little tricky for semi-autos.
This iMarksman® Dry Fire Laser for Shotguns and Handguns makes training more fun. Some of the shooters don’t like dry fire trainings because they think that they are boring. But laser insert makes dry fire trainings little more entertaining.
You can train different things, you may place targets on your walls and practice transitions, move from one position to another and even shooting on the move.

Can
this be used with a Steiger m30000. It is semi auto with an inertial system ( not gas) . Driving the auto reset.
