Picatinny rails enable users to have many different accesories on ATI Talon forend. You can install them virtually on any location on the forend. There are 70 points which can be used for this. Rails enable you to install flashlights, hand grips, lasers, etc.

Hand strap look cool and also makes grip more comfortable and reliable. Very simple and good addition to ATI Talon forend.

Installation of ATI products is sometimes complicated, so be careful and follow steps exactly as they are described in manual.

You will need following adapters to install ATI Talon forend on Remington 870:
Rear Adapter: RR (5)
Front Adapter: RF (4)

Make sure that adapters are properly installed:

Be sure to cut out plastic bridges on both adapters (not sure why they don’t remove them at factory).

ATTENTION: You need to tighten the forend nut really tight, because you will not be able to lock the action. If nut is not tightened, you won’t be able to move forend to proper end position.

My thoughts about ATI Talon Aluminum Remington 870 Forend

I really like the ATI Talon Aluminum Remington 870 Forend. It is as reliable as Remington 870 itself. The installation is not very simple but with my instructions you will be able to install it easily.

This forend gives a lot of features to the end user. You can place lots of accessories on rail around the forend.

It is built of aluminum, so it is virtually indestructible. Recommended.
