    Vitaly,

Have you experienced any problems with the MIM extractor to warrant it’s replacement with a non-MIM?

Sergei, yes, I had problems with extraction of the shells. My MIM extractor worked very good for about one year before I replaced it.

I have used the Moss 500 for 15 years plus and replaced them revfetly with the Rem 870 Express. I have had conssistent jmns with them.Thge sheel hangs up on ejection. I can’t have these jams even in the training line as then the accident potential jumps higher. Mossberg rebuilt all my Model 500′s which were 15 to 20 year old for fre and I am back using them with no problems again.

But I’d like to get the Rem 870 working. Every one tells me this is common problem with the newer 870 Expresss modeld and thay I should:.
    1. Check the extractor. Replace standard extractor with non-MIM one.
    2. Check the ejector spring.
    3. Polish the chamber.
Where can I buy non-mim extractors for the 870? Thanks for any help good people.

Clicking on the extractor link brings up Remington as MFG. Is not a Non MIM an aftermarket?

Link goes to a non-MIM extractor, part number: F16176, that extractor is more reliable and sturdy, it is used in Police version of the Remington 870.

    What is the difference?
