WTB: 870 hardwood riot stock set

Post by Afront »

A used or new Walnut/Hardwood riot stock set is what I'm after

I would be willing to trade my polymer stock + cash off my 870 Police for a walnut stock.

Riot stocks and forends....

They've only got the forend in at the moment, but keep an eye on their 870 stocks pages:

If i get another 870 i'll be doing the same. Love the look of that riot/police wood.

I love the old hardwood Police furniture too, it's my favorite set for my 870.

Check Ebay. I've seen a lot of used, matching sets posted on there for about $50. You can also get a brand-new set from Remington. For a Police walnut set, the stock assembly is PN# 93795 for $87.00, and the short fore-end is PN# 93766 for $34.00 (assuming my 2012 parts list is still accurate).

Thanks guys. I already checked into numrich and if I can't get the complete set it's a waste of time. I might settle for remington, since on ebay a new set is going for at least $150 bucks + shipping. I was hoping for used anyway.

Keep an eye on Ebay. Mine came from there for $50 with free shipping. You just have to watch for them.

I haven't checked with Remington, but MidwayUSA has that short Remington police walnut forend for $94.00. Remington has told me on occasion to check with Brownell and Midway for their parts when they are out. This was in the last year, so i don't know why Midway wants so much for that wood forend; for $37.00 i'd buy one in a heartbeat.
