Hi to all!
I've been an 'invisible reader' for quite some time now but I decided to register for the purpose of posting this search.
I'm from Germany and I'm looking to purchase a folding stock for my 870 Wingmaster.
Unfortunately the only stocks offered over here are those plastic ones.
So i thought it might be a good idea to ask around here, if anyone has a metal top folding stock (the one marked with FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY) for sale? I'll buy it.
And: Is it even possible to ship internationally?
I assume it's not that easy to ship gun related items from the US to somewhere else. Is that right?
In Germany, I'd just put any item in a box and ship it. No hassle. We don't have to declare the content of the package, and we don't have to fill out tons of forms.
I've seen a few of these stocks for sale in the US, but all of the sellers determine: 'ships within US only'.
Thanks a lot in advance to all who can help.
Best wishes from Germany, Oli

Re: Remington 870 'LEO' top folding stock
Shipping gun-related items in the U.S. isn't a big deal. There are some extra steps for shipping complete firearms or the serialized parts that are legally considered firearms, restricted items like suppressors or parts to make a gun full-auto, and flammable and/or explosive ammunition components that are considered hazardous materials; but that usually just amounts to extra fees, limits on how something can be shipped (like ground transportation only), or requirements that someone with the right license be the initial recipient. For other parts like stocks, barrels, internal parts, and other items, you can just drop them in the mail.
No idea what extra red tape is involved in shipping that stuff internationally, though. But if it's just stocks or stock components, you should be able to make it work. Those aren't generally treated as anything special here.

Re: Remington 870 'LEO' top folding stock
Thanks for your reply. That gives hope.
Same thing over here. Unless there's a serial number on it, there's no restriction.
Anyway, I'm just wondering why some sellers won't ship to Germany (unfortunately these are exactly the sellers wo offer the LEO folding stock), whereas other sellers ship their folding stocks worldwide.
So if anyone around here get's his hands on a LEO folding stock and wants to sell & ship it:
I'LL TAKE IT!

That's partially incorrect. If the Firearm Accessory has an ITAR Restriction is CANNOT be shipped from the U.S.to certain foreign countries and with other countries you need an Export License.Dodgebrother wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 7:15 am Thanks for your reply. That gives hope.

Usually the Part's manufacturer can tell you if it's ITAR Restricted.
