I just purchased a Supercell (wood stock) pad for my 870, but have a question. The instructions say to use the screws provided, but in looking at the pre-made holes in the pad, they really just go all the way through the pad with nothing to stop the screw head. I mean, the holes are slightly smaller than the head, so I get that there will be a little tension on the screw when you screw it in, but it seems like the pad could easily be pulled right off since there's nothing really holding it on other than the slightly larger screw head? Do you screw it all the way in flush to the wood? Do you leave it maybe a half inch inside the pad? What methods have you guys found for securely attaching the pad? I just would have thought that the would have left some sort of lip near the bottom of the pad for the screw head to catch on...
Thanks!

Re: Supercell for wood stock, question about screws
Just put the screws through the holes, and tighten them down until they're snug. The pad should have a piece of some kind of plastic in the base that provides structure for the screw heads.
If you think you actually got the wrong screws or a defective recoil pad, can you upload some pictures?
