Elzetta Zsm mount with tape switch light

Hey all, I just purchased a 870 police with factory 2 round extension. So far it is stock but I have ordered a Vang Comp oversized safety and an Elzetta ZSM light mount. I am wondering if anyone has used this mount with Elzettas tape switch activated Bravo flashilight. They sell a 5" pigtail and a 12" pigtail and I am wondering if the 5" would be long enough if the light was mounted up tight against the mag extension.

I haven't used the Elzetta mount myself, but I think the 5" cable might be a little on the short side. A 12ga 870 has about 4 inches of slide movement, so that just leaves one inch to go from the light's tailcap to your desired switch location on the fore-end. Doesn't sound like much to me, but it's hard to say for sure.

You could try mocking something up with some paper or cardboard and some string to see if it'll fit. Or can you just buy the 12" kit and shorten it yourself?
