New member from East Tennessee

Post by Reaper »

I bought my first 870 Express model in 1990. I soon bought an 18 inch cyl barrel, a Choate
+2 mag extension and a side saddle. Now, more than 20 years later, I got rid of the wood and put a
M4 style ATI stock and Tapco forend on it. Also added a NcStar LED light. Gun sure does look good and fits
me much better.

After stumbling across this forum, I have since polished my chamber and plan to upgrade my extractor. Maybe even a different follower and spring, even though I never had problems with the old Choate parts.

Lots of good info here on this forum, so I decided to join today. I love all the pics and hope to have a few of my own posted in a day or two.
