I have always LOVED a story with a happy ending!! With that being said I feel for the gentleman and his family who were terrorized by a thug who is now dearly departed thank goodness and will be unable to victimize anyone else! I hope the family recovers emotionally and continue to live peacefully without threat of ever being a victim again! Take note of this incident LIBERAL MEDIA!!! The good guys scored a magnanimous victory for every legal gun owner in this country who refuse to be lead like sheep to slaughter!! Rant over!:-)

Wow, that was really quite the crime spree terminated there... What a shocking and senseless criminal career . Note that one home owner fought the perpetrator off, and the second victim of home invasion stopped the threat with his shotgun in a defensive role.

One important thing about the shotgun in a defensive role is it really tilts the playing field on the whole ad nauseum "stopping power debate": Shotgun buckshot: DRT.

That man who upon being suprised by a home invasion, with his wife and daughter hiding upstairs, did exactly the right thing by grabbing his shotgun and defending his home and family. He probably did'nt even know that this loser was on a crime spree, he just defended his home, and stopped a psycho dead in his tracks, and unknowingly stopped a person who had already had victimized a lot of people. I wonder how our beloved pres. views this act of self defense, by using a weapon of the "homeowners choice"! This sort of crime is on the rise (home invasions) and becomming a real threat to all of us. This is a good example of our 2nd amendment right to bear arms, and have the right to choose whatever weapon we want to defend our homes and families. This guy just proved that shotguns (of any type we want) are an ideal choice for Home Defense! These type of scenarios happen in cities all over the USA, i think they should get much more press coverage!! Speech Over.
