This is my first 870 and I am in love. Plan on buying many more in the future after this build is done. Right now it is stock except for a quick 18.25" barrel chop (temporary until the barrel I want is back in stock) and a trigger job. I also polished the chamber and polished the bore. Will have more pics when parts start coming in as inventory and finances allow. :D

That looks great! Personally I am a fan of the all black look of my express but after seeing the work you did on your breech bolt I am considering doing the same to mine. I was trying to think of something small that I could do to my rifle to give it a little extra something. I like the black because it is just one less thing to give my position away but since I am building a combat shotgun and not a hunting rig I think this might be that little something. If I dont like it in the end I can just order the police bolt in matte instead of blue. :D

Work in progress. Picked her up at Cabela's for $300 with a 28" Smoothbore Bead Sight and 20" Smoothbore blade sight barrels. Did some research and discovered that she is an original 1951 Wingmaster 870 serial number #60,xxxV. Unfortunately neither barrel is original and the original wood furniture is gone. So she is being reborn in fire to by my combat/tactical gun.

Be nice shes old, but coming back to life. The lighting is bad, but the front is also FDE like the back. My AR and XD .45 have matching color schemes also.

Man that looks awesome. Great job. I am normally NOT a fan of adjustable AR stocks but that one looks great on your 870. I was noticing your fore-end which I am 99.9% sure is Magpul... but what is that logo/emblem?

LOL I like that emblem. How are you getting that on the stocks and stuff? Are you doing that or are you getting it done?
I was thinking about personalizing my 870 but only idea I had was to have the receiver engraved... but that is super effing risky. LOL
