Email and IP bans usually aren’t enough. I’ve seen the same spammer switch usernames, VPNs, and disposable addresses within minutes. I’d keep a private moderator log with timestamps, writing patterns, linked accounts, and whatever registration data the software exposes. Also review new accounts before they can post links or create multiple threads.
