1979 Wingmaster 870

Post by KOScottsdale »

I am trying to figure out if Remington made a Wingmaster Skeet barrel in 1979. I recently purchased this gun and cannot find the barrel info online. Can one of you help me figure this out? :)

It should be a fixed choke barrel. On the receiver end of the barrel it should be stamped as to what choke it is...

It is a fixed choke. Barrel is stamped with N on one side and Skeet on the other.

I have a 1976 Wingmaster that I purchased a Hastings Trap Barrel for. It fits and works perfectly, and comes with screw in chokes. The original Wingmaster barrel has a fixed Modified choke. 1976 was pre Rem-Choke.
