Glock 19 vs 23 vs 32.
So I’m wanting to get a good idea of what pistol I ant to get when I turn 21 in 2026 I know it’s a long time off and all but I want to be ahead in life. The glock mid size and the m&p compact series are my main choices I’m not a big fan of sub compact guns since I can’t get a good grip on them and sit like shooting them the smallest I like is the m&p shield. I like shooting full size hand guns but for edc they’re not practical. I’m mainly considers a Glock 19, 23 and 32 they’re in my top 4 hand gun cartridges I love .40 personally since I’ve been around it a lot I like 9mm and .357 sig seems like a nice round. A guy I talk to on discord says anything but 9 is a waste no matter what I tell him. I still like all 3 and want to own all one day but I need to start with one. Also I’m not considering availability of .357 sig since I’m mostly looking at the guns them selves.

I converted a 22 and a 23 to 9mm. Decided I wanted to stick with few popular rounds (9mm, 5.56, 7.62x51).
If you like 40 then should be able to get good prices on used police trade-in guns, resale on 40 guns is quite a bit less than 9mm. Conversion to 357 SIG is trivial if you value that. Conversion of 40 to 9mm is a bit more involved but mine run well. Having proven their reliability I use them as my carry guns.

It's great that you're thinking ahead and doing your research! It's definitely a good idea to start considering what kind of pistol you might want to get when you turn 21. There are a lot of different factors to consider when choosing a pistol, and it's important to find one that will fit your needs and preferences. The Glock 19, 23 and 32 are all great options in different calibres. 9mm is a very popular calibre and is a good all-around choice, and there are a lot of slide kits from https://3dgunbuilder.com/polymer-80/glo ... slide-kit/ that allow you to upgrade it. .40 S&W is also popular and has more stopping power than 9mm. .357 SIG is a great choice if you're looking for a high-powered round with good accuracy. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what kind of pistol you want. There are many great options out there, and it's important to find one that you're comfortable with and feel confident in.

I'm an old school 1911 guy. I had my share of Tupperware guns but I'll stick with ole "Slabsides".
That aside? I like Beretta m9's as well.
