Ruger Wrangler

Post by Scorpion8 »

Well, I had to pull the trigger (he he he) on one of these in bronze at my LGS and get it ordered. Anybody got one to share any experiences or opinions?

Well, had to grab one as I was feeling the need to treat "me". Got the silver w/black cylinder. Very nice. Haven't shot it yet, just got it last night. Should be a great walk-about gun as there are critters and varmints where I like to walk my dogs when we can get out. I love the SAA format and have several <gasp!> several of similar models, but got this one cheap with a $30-off coupon and a whole bunch of reward points. Wish they made it in 17 HMR or had a 22 WMR cylinder option like the Super Single Six convertible. And so many color options from Ruger and "special limited editions"....it's like a candy store.

ETA: Oh yea, I said I had ordered the bronze cerakote. I did, that one is still coming. This was a LGS impulse since the price couldn't be ignored.... So there'll be twins someday!!!
