Glock P80

Post by Banshee »

FedEx drop off my New P80 Monday. I haven’t had time to do anything with it yet and will get a pic or two up by the weekend. They did a pretty good job of reproducing the old Gen 1 gun. It feels just like a remember back in the 80s when i first handled one.

What's a P80? I gave up following Glocks when they got to the Glock 4,713 Gen XIIIVC which was just a Glock 4,709 Gen XIIVC with an extra dimple in the stipple.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, G-17. Have owned 2, a Gen 2 and a Gen 3. Can't get past (IMHO) the boxiness, the silly trigger thingy, and the odd striker "feel". To each their own. Yea, lotsa folks love them and I do have a S&W SD-9VE which stole the Glock design shamelessly, and a Walther PPQ M2. But gimme a hammer-fired pistol any day.
