From the Land of Pleasant Living

Post by wbickle »

Greetings from the Eastern Shore of Maryland!

I'm an Army vet with experience in rifles and handguns, but shotguns are new to me. Fortunately, I am blessed with several friends with considerable knowledge. In fact, most of my friends own multiple weapons. I'm late to the party, and am now interested in personal protection.

The 870 was recommended to me, given my circumstances. I did my due diligence and was fortunate to obtain one from a local gun shop. It's amazing how many 870-related items are on backorder or out of stock. Anyway, I love the 870 so far, though I haven't actually fired it yet.

Lots to learn and I look forward to following the forum.
