Last night I did a REALLY STUPID thing!
I'm replacing my factory installed crappy Remington Extractor on my 870 Express with a NON-MIM Extractor
I placed them both on the bench and then forgot which was which!
I'm about 90% sure that I re-installed the New NON-MIM one..
But can anyone tell me if these is a way of telling them apart?
Thanks!
Difference between a NON-MIM and Factory Extractor?

MY HERO!!!.. THANK YOU!!!
I recognize the remaining extractor that is on my bench as MIM!!!..

I recognize the line across the top of the MIM that isn't on my new NON MIM (top photo!
Thanks again!

Re: Difference between a NON-MIM and Factory Extractor?
Like Vitaly's images showed, the raised gate mark on the outside of the extractor indicates that it's a MIM part.
Also, I'll note that both the MIM and machined (non-MIM) extractors are factory parts. The only aftermarket extractor offered for the 870 is an expensive EDM one from Volquartsen.
