CDM's Web site is not available to place orders, nor do any of their dealers have the BMT with 3 slot rail, or the MOD-C flashlight mounts in stock. Anyone have a clue?

The owner is experiencing business difficulties. I'm not sure whether CDM was his day job. His machinist died and he lost the lease on his shop. Last I heard he was looking for a new place to set up and a new machinist, and perhaps more working capital. I really wanted one of his 20 gauge light mounts, but the design never got built.

My machinist had been sick most of last year and took a major turn with a lung cancer relapse in June. We held out hope and the family was pitching in with some machining to help keep the bills paid but Stans illness took a turn for the worse and he passed away in September. I got to tour his new facility about 2 weeks before he passed. He looked and sounded great when we met and we were making plans to continue. We closed on a property in October but we didn't get equipment moved in and operational until January. So, working capitol is not a problem, CDM Gear is my day job and we are getting back up to speed. Capacity is our major issue right now but we're working through it. We just completed a small run of the BMT and shipped to Mounts Plus and Harris Tactical. We had a list of back orders that we filled with free shipping from our website. We're doing the same now with the MOD-C and hope to get those completed in a few weeks. The waiting list is on the website and we will be offering free shipping for those MOD-C back orders for those who have patiently waited. We will be closing it out shortly because we are close to finishing the run and making ready for delivery. BMT's start up again next but we won't be doing a waiting list because our run times are really good now. Well, maybe we will.
