I've read some on here and it looks like a pretty good place, so decided to get registered. Just this past week I bought an 870 Express, first shotgun I've had in about 40 years. Looking forward to getting back into it and learning more about it. Nice to meet y'all.

Howdy and welcome. I'm an PRI escapee, originally from Peoria, circa 1972. Enjoy your new Express. I have several Wingmasters and picked up an Express a few years ago. I've got about 7-800 rounds down the tube at this time with zero issues. Since mine is a HD model I upgraded the safety to the large button style and added a stainless mag tube follower. I also picked up a few forged extractors but since the MIM unit hasn't given me any problems have yet to change it out. Have fun and be safe.

Thanks for the welcome mercman. And congratulations on you're escape, lol. So far my Express has only had 12 round through it. Its been raining constantly. And those 12 rounds were fired in pouring rain but dangit I just couldn't stand having a virgin gun. Really looking forward to getting some trigger time with it. Again, thanks for the welcome.
