Hello. I am K_W. I have had an 870 Exp Mag for just over a year, my first, and currently only shotgun.

I modified it for it's intended purpose, home defense.

Howdy from Texas. Nice pair for defensive use. I've got a Rem. 870 Express Synthetic as a gift way back in '91 or '92 that I've modified for HD: youth-size l.o.p. Choate pistol-grip butt-stock, 4-shot side-saddle, a Mossberg-mfr. 18-1/2in. barrel, and most recently one of those EOTech ILForends. My "nightstand" handgun is a big ol' S&W 619 7-shooter in .357, but I keep it loaded with 158gr. LSWCHP .38+P.
