Current RemArms 870s?

Anyone have any experience with the current ones? How do you tell if these are NOS or current production? 2 of the local LGS here has a bunch of the 870 tactical and the 870 wood home and defense priced at around $400 with tax. I can go on a hunt for an older Wingmaster but the prices on those are up and up already.
