Remington Tactical Choke Tube question

Post by Carlo1137 »

Does anyone know if you can use slugs to shoot out of the Remington Tactical Choke Tube? My 870 Tactical Express came with one and reading the manual, it says never to shoot anything out of the barrel without a choke on it. I know its better to use cylinder or improved cylinder to shoot slugs but just wondering if anyone has tried shooting slugs out of there Remington Tactical Choke Tube and lived to talk about it!

Thanks in advance!

Perfectly safe to use. The Remington tactical choke tube is marked "cylinder". My first outing, I fired 30+ slugs through it and about 125 rounds overall.

Thank you for this info! I never saw the mark on the tactical choke. I'll look again!
