That happens quiet often when someone replaces a synthetic stock with a wooden one and doesn’t know you must have the plate

The perp who ruined that stock actually kept the plate but trimmed the wood so it rattled about. I suspect they were trying to adjust drop or cast. Can imagine no other reason.
