sidesaddle question

Newbie here...

I've just bought my first pump action shotgun.. 870 offcourse!

i got this one:

i really like the stock..

here's the question: is there a sidesaddle that fits this gun, with this forend.

I think that if you want to put a side saddle on it, you'll have to do something with the forend. You could cut it short, or you could look at other options from Ram Line or Hogue...here's one offered by Hogue at MidwayUSA...not sure if you can order from them, but it'll give you an idea of what to look for http://www.midwayusa.com/product/115111 ... -synthetic

there is a side saddle that will fit thats made by tacstar. I put it on mine and it is a 6 shell holder and very solid in my opinion. paid $30 for it.

you have what we call a sporting or hunting forend, so these sidesaddles you see for sale are mostly6 shot for the police or compatition guns so the forend is short.
mesa tactical and tacstar make «4 shot models of side saddles.

Simple answer: Yes, there are 4-round sidesaddle models that will fit with that fore-end. If you want one bigger than 4 rounds, you'll need a different fore-end.

Magpul also offers a really nice fore end for only $30. Its a new addition to there line of firearm accessories. Also have a matching stock. They are kind of a hate or love it design (I love it and plan on getting the set next week) It does work with most any side saddle as it is a little shorter than the sporting style and most traditional style fore ends.
