Action bar lock

My slide would not lock in the forward position. I discovered that the action bar lock was bent in. I bent it slightly out and now the gun function checks properly. My question is would you guys shoot the gun knowing that the action bar lock was bent in and then back out or would you replace. My face is not worth trying to save $100 bucks for a new trigger group. Thank you.
