On the carrier pivot tube there is a carrier dog washer with a detent spring Should there be a washer behind the other detent spring because there is a little bit of play with the carrier and I can cycle once then the bolt locks to the rear and I have to push the action lock to get the bolt forward. If there is such a washer I can not find it on the diagram. Thank you in advance for the help.

Figured out the problem the action release was jammed between the forend assembly and the receiver housing a little adjusting on the legs good as new.

Just so you know, 870s only have the one carrier dog washer.
