I was in the Air Force, stationed in Statesboro Georgia for three years .
Most of the residence did not know we were their.
We lived in town and were given money by the Air Force to rent an apartment, money to buy food, besides our Pay Check.
Back then there was Georgia Southern Collage now of course it is Georgia Southern University.
Our support base was Warner Robins AFB Warner Robins Ga.
We were a Bomb Plot site for the B52 bombers and other air craft that had bombing capability's . The Bomb Plot Site, Det 3 was, where now, is the Statesboro Air Port. just North Of Town on Hi Way 301.
We were , Det. 3 Radar Bomb Scoring, 1st Combat Evaluation Group . If you want more information about what was their , Google Det3, RBS or 1st Combat Evaluation Group .
We had a high and a low level simulated bomb practice air way. High was 35,000 feet and the low was a 600 feet off the Georgia soil in Statesboro.

I married a Girl from Metter Georgia.
