870 magazine tube stripped threads

Picking up a 870 with stripped threads at the magazine cap. How easy is this to fix?

Is it the magazine cap that's stripped, or the magazine tube? The former is an easy fix, just replace it. But if the magazine tube is FUBAR'd, you'll probably need to have a new magazine tube brazed into the receiver.
