Mag tube fails to load more than one round.

I took my 20g 870 to the range for the first time after deployment and had some issues. It was cleaned and lubed before we went to the range. I can only load one shell into the mag tube. The spring and follower look fine. I can't figure it out.

This may be kind of a dumb suggestion, but does your gun have a magazine plug installed?

No plug installed.

Very strange problem... Try it with different spring and follower to be sure that they are ok.

I'd suggest trying to load the magazine without the spring. Put the follower in there, but leave the spring out, and see if you can load the normal number of shells.
