Hi y'all!!! I've had a 3" 12 GA Wingmaster for 22-23 years now, but the last hunting license I bought was in 2001. Recently I've had an itch for a HD shotgun/tacticool range toy, so I did my research and found that the H&R Pardner is a 870 clone. I order a Tacstar grip set ($19) and a AIM Sports side saddle ($14) while I was looking for a deal. As luck would have it my wife needed to see her Dr. in Columbus (about 45 min. away), so I stopped at Cabela's and picked one up for $199 (They're $229 locally) and the had 00 buckshot for $4.50 for 10 . Now I need a light.
Here it is when I got it home
About 10 min. later
And the next day (the mailman brought me more goodies)
That setup sure fits the "tacticool" requirement, and at an impressively low price. I have a Hogue pistol-grip for my 870, and it's a lot of fun to play around with.
For HD duty though, you might want to consider swapping the shoulder stock back on. Those pistol grips can make a 12ga tough to control, and even tougher to quickly and reliably put shots where they need to go during a stressful situation.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
The reason I wanted the pistol grip setup is because I have a tight stairway with a corner midway down. I need something compact to round that corner.
