Did a basic saiga conversion on my rifle last weekend. It turned out pretty nice.

That's a fancy-lookin' Kalashnikov there, sir. My wife share's birthdays with Mikhail Kalashnikov, so she's kind of a "fangirl" of the AK... I like my M-1 rifle and her M-1 carbine a lot. I've also got two Chinese Type 56 SKS carbines, one--made in 1967--left bone stock and the other--1980, last year of production at the particular Chi-com factory--with Mil-tec M16A1 rear aperture sights and an extended butt pad to lengthen the l.o.p. and whatnot. Sort of an "understudy" of an M-1, but pretty nice--at least to me.

. It isn't completely done yet but I'll probably leave it like this for a while. My goal is to get it looking like a more traditional ak. Shouldn't be too bad if I can find the parts.

Heres a pic of my S. S. Ruger Mini-14, i've had this since 98'. I've got 1000 rds of .223 ammo, so i did'nt freak when the guns/ammo scare was on, i've got 5 30 rd mags, but i'm glad they're available again.

Nice, I have always wanted a Mini14 and when I went to buy a rifle again the local gun shop was out, instead I got a M&P15 sport and I love it but if I could sell it or trade it for a Mini14 I would. See pics
