These are the upgrades so far:

* Carlson Improved Cylinder choke replaces the breecher choke.
* BeamLokr Flashlight mount and flashlight
* Brownells Green aluminum follower
* Esstac 7 round shotshell card (dummy shells for the pic)
* Wilson Combat Oversized Safety with DIY red ring mod
* Magpul SGA stock - 12.5" LOP

Next up are the following:
* Magpul SGA receiver sling mount
* Cerakote finish

I like that set-up. I've got an express synthetic that I got in the early 1990s as a gift that I built into a defensive gun. I've still just got the 4+1 magazine with the somewhat annoying "dimples" preventing a bigger magazine tube.
What's the deal with a cerakote finish? Looks like the shotgun there has parkerizing? My franken870 has the low-cost express finish, now plenty scratched and whatnot, but the Mossberg 18-1/2-in. cylinder bore barrel is nicely blued!

I will let you know as soon as I get some time out on the range. Just finished the current set of mods. There are a few Youtube videos on it and it will move some under fire. However, the front clamp will stop its motion at some point. For now, I can tell you that I can turn on the light without movement in the mount.

It's the one thing so far I'm not too sure about just yet but wanted to give it a try.

From what I've read and seen about Cerakote, its reasonable as a DIY project although a little more work than Duracoat while being tougher. And believe it or not the Tactical has the low cost express finish and it shows in some spots. I think I managed a combination of good lighting and dumb luck for the pics. I broke out the good camera for them.

guess I will add mine to, a Left handed Remington 870, chopped the barrel, added front and rear rifle sights, Leapers Tactical Picatinny Rail Scope Mount, Nordic Components +2 Magazine, phoenix technology kicklite stock, magpul foregrip, weaver to dovetail conversion for rear sight, ( I had to cut the dovetail down to 3/8 inch for the rear sight to fit on it) the conversion part was something like a half inch dovetail, but worked just fine and is super tight, front sight is a flat base ramp (I had to grind the sides down a little bit because it was about an 1/8 inch wider than the the rib vent.) then drill and tap for 6x32 screws, I had to cut them down as well, with a 1/2 inch blade sight. a short barrel for a let handed gun is next to impossible to find so I cut mine down to 18.75 inches.
