Actually no. I wasn't sure because it did not say to cut the spring so I called and the lady said they come shipped at the proper length. I left it and got my extra 2 shells. However I did not use the included follower.

Just ordered some new toys for my 870.

I was originally going to get the Tacstar side saddle because the Mesa $$$ was too much... until now.

I read A LOT of reviews on both and opted for the Mesa. Soooo to keep my order within budget I dropped the light mount that I wanted (already have a light mounted and will replace the mount when I upgrade the light.)

So my 870 is about to receive:

So my 870 received a Magpul facelift today and damn is it nice.

It is a PERFECT for my gun and for me. I will wait to post pics when the last of my order arrives. I will also post a little review.

The Mesa Tactical Side Saddle came in today and GOSH DARN is it one quality piece of tactical awesome. I am so glad I spent the extra money.

Just placed an order on Brownells for the Non-MIM Extractor and the Vang Comp Stainless Steel Follower. I was going to get a bigger safety but the on second thought I realized that I personally have absolutely no problem whatsoever finding my safety. Even during pressure drills so why spend the $20 when the safety I already have is just fine. I am excited to see if the Non-MIM extractor fixes my little ejection issues.
