Just want to let everyone know, I had my smith replace a broken ejector with the Sully system and he LOVES it. Says that from now on, he is going to recommend it to the owner of every 870 he works on. It's worked flawlessly for me for more than a thousand rounds.

The factory ejectors are the weakest and most common point of failure in the 870, difficult to find, and a pain in the ass to replace. I'm surprised it took so long for someone to come up with this innovation, but it's here now, and in my opinion it cements the position of the 870 squarely at the top of the heap among pump shotguns.

Just curious, What would the ejector screws look like after installation. Would the screws fit flush to the receiver, would it look obvious that the ejectors were replaced. I'm definitely interested, I have one that needs replacing on my 70's wing master. Thanks. -Ronnie

In the above pictures, you can see that the button head screws are domed, and protrude out about half the thickness of a $.10 dime. We chose this type of screw due to that when we started sampling 870 receivers from modern to dating back to the 1950's, we found that there we differences in the depth of the factory rivet holes. So by using a button head, the domed head will not catch or interfere with anything, button head screws are common on many firearms for a very long time, which don't interfere with anything.

As for adding a side shell carrier, you won't have to worry about any protrusion of the button head screws interfering with the side shell carrier plate, as we have used them with TacStar, Mesa Tactical, and Aridus, with no issues of fit or function.

We manufacture them on the machines as fast as we can, in addition to the other parts and tools that we make. Once machined, they go to hardening, then back to us for inspection to make sure they are still within spec for tolerances. Then from there they go to finishing, then back to us. Once we get them back from finishing, they get assembled, bagged and tagged for sale and shipping. So the process takes a while.

We currently have in stock the 3.5" Super Magnum 12ga, which can be ordered directly from us and shipped.

We have a batch of 3" Magnum 12ga that are at finishing as we speak. If all stays on track they should be ready for sale and shipping late next week. They can be ordered directly from us, and you can also find them at MidwayUSA and Brownells.
