SOLD: New/Unfired Remington 870 Marine Magnum 18" Barrel

Post by snakeplissken »

***SOLD***

For sale is a new, unfired Remington 870 Marine Magnum 18" Barrel with Bead Sight, 2 3/4" or 3".

12 Gauge

Purchased the gun two weeks ago and decided to swap out the barrel for one with rifle sights. This leaves me with an extra barrel.

$150.00 shipped to you via USPS. Continental US only please.

Payment via PayPal. Please add 3% ($154.50) so that I receive the full amount and be discreet in the payment notes.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Item is also for sale on AR15.com. My user name there is Justin369 and it is listed in the Equipment Exchange under FOR SALE - Firearm Related > Shotgun Parts & Accessories.

I would post a link but I don't know if the moderator of this forum would be too happy about that :)

Moderator said it was ok to post the link... same pictures but I have been a member over there for a while and sold a few things through the years. I have 100% positive feedback.

If the other website has additional details on the item, or if it would allow potential buyers here to get a better look at your post/transaction history, go ahead and add the link.

12 Gauge. Thanks for pointing out my omission.

I was so worried about getting the pics and link up properly that I missed a very important piece of info.

Hello,

The barrel is sold. To answer your question, though... I think you can put a 3" chambered barrel on a Super Mag but you will lose the ability to fire 3.5" Super Mag shells. Your receiver can handle 3.5", 3", and 2.75" shells but this barrel is only chambered for 3" and 2.75" shells.

I'm sure you can post your question in the appropriate area of the forums and get a more qualified answer.

Below is some info from MidwayUSA's site that might make things more clear.

Good luck!

• Model 870 extra barrels with 2-3/4" chambers will fit Super Magnum, Magnum and 2-3/4" receivers. Use only 2-3/4” shells in these barrels

• Model 870 extra barrels with 3" chambers used on Super Magnum and Magnum receivers will handle both 2-3/4" and 3" shotshells only. Use only 2-3/4” shotshells when these barrels are used on non-Magnum receivers.
