Just found this site, looks interesting. I've been shooting a pair of 870 Express guns for years (a 20 and a 12). Both are 3" Magnum versions.

I do 90% of my own gunsmithing (hobby level, not licensed) and hope to help answer questions about repairs and functioning. With these guns changing length of pull, smoothing the action, and reassembling correctly seem to be the most common issues I've had and seen.

keith44, welcome to the forum! How do you smooth the action? Do you just polish action bars or there are other advices you can give?
