my 1993 870 express found me again!

A happy story and a introduction.

I am an avid enthusiast that has been without this gun for 20 years.

It was stolen in 1993 and I never thought I would see this gun again.

My local sheriff called me yesterday and told me they had recovered a gun they thought belonged to me.

I cringed....

They told me the gun was recovered in a raid on a home that belonged to me.

I was floor'd.

I recoverd the gun and it was as it was in 1993.
NO damage.

The cool part is that my father, now deceased, took me to buy this gun.

Never thought we would see it again!

Today it is mine again.

After thinking about it I want to now modify it!

Hogue grips and stock! 18" barrel, mag tube extension, and we are good!

I cleaned it today and it was like a time capsule seriously odd. The guns has not been fired I swear.
No marks on the bolt face, no fouling in the barrel.

Remarkable.

The only thing that fits is the lint on it:$
