As far as I know they did not upgrade the latches that hold the shells in the mag. They DID upgrade the ejecter assbly. Much heavier duty.

The "Flexi Tab" carrier is a major advancement. This patch fixes a 30-year design defect that caused shell latches to break if users didn't press a shell into the magazine. This might cause shells to fall out of the magazine beneath the bolt, blocking the action and necessitating disassembly. The Flexi Tab carrier's U-shaped cutout on the bottom of the shotgun and modified machining on the slide assembly allow the action to be opened with a shell on the carrier. ​
