Realistic Slug Range 20ga 870 Express W Optics

Newbie Question - What is a realistic accurate range to expect out of a slug on a 20ga 870 express (pump) with a Nikon Prostaff P3 2-7x32? 100yds? 50 yds? it has the long barrel not the short. Pic Attached just in case.

Most hunting with shotgun slugs is kept at or below 100 yards, so you should be good. They may think they are rifle bullets, but slugs have the aerodynamic qualities of a cinder block.
