I bought the swage tool. It just arrived. The directions are online. I’ll give it a go soon and post back.

Bought the swage tool. Covered it and the barrel with Rem oil and it’s now stuck in my mag tube. Any advice? Been tapping on the detents with a brass punch to no avail. I accept any trash talk coming my way but please throw some assistance my way also.

Remoil sucks for a lube, Should have used grease in the mag tube and on the swage. You should be able to clamp on the swage with a vise or Visegrips and pull it back out.

So I removed the trigger group and used a dowel and hammered the thing out. Extension is on and it cycles well. I’m happy. Finally got back to this project. Has it really been a year and a half?
