LPA BAR Tactical Series Ghost Ring Rear Sight
If I attach a LPA BAR Tactical Series Ghost Ring Rear Sight to the picatinny rail on my rem 870, would i need to replace the front bead sight as well? Thanks in advance for any insight or advice!!

Just the front bead sight on the barrel. I have a mesa tactical side saddle with integrated picatinny rail attached to the gun as well.

I don't think a factory bead sight is going to be tall enough to line up with an aftermarket ghost ring on a saddle-mount rail.

dunnman1981,
Not sure where you have gone with your front sights, because it has been a while but if you still need a front sight and The maker of the LPA Bar Sights can't help... and you only have a bead sight w/o pedestal, you might want to try the SpitFire Sight System.
They have a really nice front sight system that might work with other rear sights.
If you need info, SpitFire worked with me to determine my need for a front sight so they should be able to give you the measurements needed.
Their front pedestal sight will work over an OEM bead sight but not the OEM Pedistal Sight/Bead Sights and they have others.
Call them if you still need a front sight and they will work with you !
