Just picked up an old Mec 600 Jr for $50. Will clean it up and let you know how it goes.

Sounds good! I plant to start with the Lee Load All press soon. Will have a review about it asap.

After a few hours of tinkering and watching youtube videos, finally managed to put it all together (was just given a box of parts). Turn's out it's a Mec 650! Wanted something a bit simpler to start with, but hey, not complaining!

You don't really need a reloading press if you buy new primed hulls. You can do it with a small digital scale that weighs in ounces and grains. You can pick one up for around $20 and a roll crimping bit that you can use in a drill press or with a hand drill for about $30. It's really not that hard once you get the feel for it. Then you just need a recipe and the right components which fortunately are getting easier to find.
