A local gun club and range facility had a Halloween themed "Zombie hunt" shooting event. Basically, I started out behind the wheel of a vehicle (this entailed removing portions of my best effort at a "zombiepocalypse" costume, including an M1891/30 socket bayonet and a large hatchet...

At the signal, I dashed out of the vehicle, snatched up the Mossberg and shot steel plates off a spinner. My first efforts knocked off three of the plates, but I started to miss after that. Once run empty, I tabled the suppressed shotgun, dashed over to another table and took up a 9mm Glock handgun fitted with suppressor, 30+ cartridge magazine, weapon light, and Crimson trace laser sight system and then engaged various paper zombie targets

Anyhow, while far, far too expensive a piece of gear for my limited income, I still think a Remington 870 Carlson Turkish-mfr. 18-in. barrel with screw in choke adaptors fitted with, say, the 8-in. or the 10-in. version of the suppressor would be mighty handy indeed for nocturnal feral hog/wild boar hunts where I reside.... For shots within, say, 40 yards or so, you'd have some bacon.
