Hi new to the forum, what a great site. I just changed out my stock and fore end tonight with a Boyds Sterling Thumbhole. I use my 870 primarily for trap shooting so I was looking for something to make my gun look different then all the rest and to help with my sight picture. I am very impressed with the quality of the stock and I am looking forward to going shooting with it soon.

Lots of nice looking woods in here. They really are stunning. :)

RainMan, what's the length of pull on that stock? It just oozes a look of quality.

Thank you. The pictures really do not do it justice I promise it looks much better in person. The price is also very affordable when you order it direcly from the factory with link in my earlier post. As per this youtube video concerning this stock, the length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.

I will be shooting this gun this weekend so I am very anxious to see if this performs as good as it looks.

My name is Ray and I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is my 870:

Blog was right about Remington's plus-3 magazine extension kit; it's a bit too long. So to make up for the ugly "under-bite" I added a KA-BAR bayonet just for looks.
