Hey everyone,
My name’s Karl and I’m from Texas. I’ve been hunting since I was a kid, mostly with family, and over the years the Remington 870 has become my most trusted shotgun. It started as a basic field model, but I’ve put it through just about everything Texas can throw at it; hot dove fields in September, early morning duck hunts on the coast, and deer season with slugs out in thick brush country.
One of my proudest moments with the 870 was a clean whitetail harvest at about 70 yards using rifled slugs; dropped him right where he stood. I’ve also had some great waterfowl days where that shotgun cycled flawlessly through cold, wet conditions without a hiccup. What I respect most about the 870 is how dependable and adaptable it is. It’s not fancy, but it works every time I pull the trigger.
I’m here to connect with other 870 owners, learn from your setups and experiences, and maybe share a few lessons I’ve picked up along the way. Looking forward to being part of the community.
