870 express trigger question

870 express trigger question
Hey guys I’m not sure what this part is pictured below but there is a chip missing from it. Looks like pot metal. Should I be concerned about this. And also is this part or the removable trigger pack assembly

It's not pot metal, it's cast aluminum I think. I believe most expresses have plastic housings.  Thats the coating that is flaked off. I wouldn't worry about it too much but I would keep an eye on it to see if it continues. Everything in the trigger group is replaceable if you want to. I would suggest you watch a couple of videos on taking it apart.
