Mesa Tactical Sureshell sidesaddle

I purchased 2 of the Mesa Tactical Sureshell sidesaddles for my 2 870 Police Magnums. Sensing that the elastomer material might be stiff, I loaded shotshells in the sidesaddles and let them stand for a week to loosen up a bit. Bottom line is that 2 or 3 of the 6 carrier slots on each one are so stiff that I can't remove some of the shotshells without a struggle. The instructions mention twisting them out in some cases, but that didn't help as my hand just slid when twisting. I will call Mesa on Monday, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and if there is a solution. Thanks.

Sometimes they are tight. Open it up and try turning the rubber strip.
