need help/advice/tips for remington ext bracket screw

hi all,

i had ordered a extension kit for my 20 gauge. a +2 kit.

anyhow i didn't know that the screw was sold separately! got too excited when i was putting parts in my cart (ON-line) on the remmy page.

that damn screw is going to cost me $20 total!! and i don't feel like spending that much for a damn screw.

so my question is can i just to a hardware store and try to find one?
does anyone on here uses the remmy extension bracket screw? if so, what is the size/spec on it?

anything that would help me out would greatly be appreciated!

The screw is 12-24 x 3/4" oval head. True Value might carry it. Good luck!
