apologize on the late post. These are the 27 pellet. I grabbed 3 boxes (15 rds) a while back and tested them out. No jams and maybe this is in my head but not as much kick as 00 Winchesters.
Esthetically, they were also pleasing ( this matters to me LOL). I like the look of the clear shells. I know Remmington has their own but they were a little more expensive and for whatever reason I'm not a big fan of the green shell.
My girl got me 250 rounds from Luckygunner at about .50 a round. I don't really shoot them since I want them for HD.
Overall this was a great suggestion by you. Living in an apartment kept me thinking that 00 buck was a little too dangerous for me.

Re: BULK AMMO??
27 pellets of #4 buckshot is a heavier load than 9 pellets of 00 buck, but on the other hand, the S&B #4B load is slower than the Winchester military 00B. Assuming these loads use true .24- and .33-caliber pellets of the same density, and that each load lives up to its rated muzzle velocity (1181 fps for the S&B and 1325 fps for the Winchester), a little napkin math shows that in the same gun, both loads should produce roughly the same recoil energy. Minor details like powder burn characteristics, differences in shot alloys & wad masses, and the presence of buffering in the Winchester shells may make one shell or the other slightly softer-shooting; but I'd be surprised if the difference in free recoil energy was more than 5 - 10% at the most.spacecowboy237 wrote:These are the 27 pellet.
