Replacement Wood Stocks for the 870

Post by Hoosier USMC » Sat Dec 15, 2018 6:58 pm

Besides ordering new walnut butt stocks and fore ends from Remington or Brownells, is there any other vendors I should look at? I have an 870 project I'm working on and want to replace the walnuts stocks, they are pretty banged up, but I want "high quality" walnut, not plain jane wood. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ditto on all above. Boyd's does great work, and Remington has a lot of sales at this time of year.

Older thread but I've seen a few police walnut sets with terrific grain under a plain satin finish.

Numrich always has a nice selection of used take-offs too.
